In an effort to urge Latino voters to participate in the November 6 presidential election, Tony-winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda employed his rapping talents for Movimiento Hispano, a movement aimed at increasing voter turnout among Hispanic-Americans. The In The Heights and Bring It On composer is a well-known advocate for civic engagement, and his YouTube video (entitled “Found in Translation”) is no exception. “We’ve had our time being minorities, now let’s be seen,” raps Miranda in the video.
